Villa Reale di Marlia hosts its vintage market for the first time: the objects of the Pecci Blunt era look for a new home, after a glorious past between parties, dinners, afternoons with artists
In the same weekend of the famous antiques market of Lucca, you can browse through vintage objects and retro furniture both in the historic center of the city and in the complex of Villa Reale di Marlia, only 7 km far from Lucca.
The weekend of 18/19 May will be the good chance to satisfy the curiosity to find particular objects for fans of vintage items and meanwhile walk in the 16 hectares of historic park of Villa Reale and marvel inside the two museums recently open to the public.
The museum of the clock house hosts the private collections of Countess Pecci Blunt and an exhibition dedicated to her with photographs of the parties organized in the garden from the 1920s onwards with illustrious guests.
Taking home a piece of the Villa’s recent history will surely be inspiring! Unfortunately we can not give life to everything but we are sure that you will help us!
How does it take place? You will find the objects for sale in the lemon houses of the historic park of Villa Reale!
What time? From 10:00 to 18:00.
Where to book the entrance? We recommend to buy the ticket on our shop online to skip the line! Park only ticket to see the market.
Can I visit museums? Of course, you can add €6.00 to the park ticket for a visit to the Royal Villa and the Clock House.
In case of rain? The market is covered as it takes place in lemon houses and the park and museums can be visited even in the rain!
What objects can I find?! Games, vases, dishes, glasses, phones, tables, lampshades, benches, chairs, cabinets, mirrors, and…. come and see by yourself!
Should seasonal ticket holders have to buy a ticket? No, the admission is free.

Relax at the Villa Reale Café with an aperitif overlooking the lake.
Cocktails and bubbles await you, with background music, delicious finger food and colorful blankets.
The appointments with aperitifs in the garden are for Friday 7th June, 28th June, 12th July and 26th July.
Stroll through the gardens and reach the Villa Reale Café to taste a Royal Elisa accompanied by finger food.
You will find blankets and pillows on the lawn to enjoy the atmosphere of the gardens at sunset with the background music of the Restauro Band that accompany the evening with the duo guitar and voice of Emiliano and Irene.
At what time? It will be possible to access the park from 18, the aperitif will end by 22:00.
Where does it take place? At the Café of Villa Reale. You will find blankets on the meadows around the Café where you can sit, as well as tables and chairs.
How much does it cost? The cost is €15.00 per person including park entrance and one cocktail.
How to book? Select the date on the calendar of our shop online.
Will the ticket purchased online be refundable? No, if you can’t attend the event, you can give your ticket to friends and relatives who can use it on the booked date.
Can I book the day of the event? Only in case of remaining availability.
In case of rain? The event will be postponed to August 2.
Do seasonal tickets holders have to buy tickets? No, it will be enough to supplement the difference due to the event directly at the ticket office of €6.00.
Three female figures characterize the history of Villa Reale: Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, Maria Luisa di Borbone and Anna Laetitia Pecci Blunt.

At the end of the conferences, enjoy a moment of relax at our lake view Café – we’ll offer you a free drink thematically linked to each meeting.
Coffee will be the protagonist on 5th May with different options, pineapple juice on 2nd June and finally you can refresh yourself with a lemon sorbet on 7th July.
Where does it take place? The event takes place inside the North Lemon House in the park of Villa Reale.
What time? The event starts at 10:30.
How much does it cost? The cost is €20 per meeting, with the possibility of buying the cumulative ticket for two dates at €35 and three dates at €50. The discount is applied in case of cumulative purchase only, otherwise the cost of each meeting will be €20.
Are museums included in the entrance fee? Yes, the ticket includes access to the park, the Royal Villa, the Clock House as well as participation in the cultural meeting.
Where to book tickets? On our shop online selecting the date that you are intested in.
Can I buy tickets on the day of the event? Only in case of remaining availability.
How long are the meetings? Around one hour. You can stay in the park until 18:00.
Is the ticket refundable? No, it is valid only for the chosen date; if you cannot come you can give it to others. Once the corresponding tickets have been validated, they will not be usable by others with the same order number.
Do seasonal tickets holders have to buy tickets? No, it will be enough to supplement the difference due to the event (€5.00) directly at the ticket office, valid for the three dates.
